More durable and refined than older models

I can confidently say that this upgrade has been nothing short of incredible. The Fold 7 feels like the perfect blend of power and innovation. Coming from the S22 Ultra, the Fold 7 takes the mobile phone experience to a whole new level. The main display is stunning - bright, smooth, and truly immersive. Having the ability to unfold the device and transform it into a near-tablet is a game changer, especially for multitasking, reading, and streaming. I didn’t realize how much I would appreciate the larger screen until I started using it every day. Samsung has clearly refined the hinge and build quality, and it feels both durable and premium in the hand. The outer screen is also practical, letting me use the phone quickly without always unfolding it. Performance-wise, the Fold 7 doesn’t miss a beat. Apps run fluidly, multitasking is seamless, and the software enhancements for split-screen and app continuity make the whole experience smooth and intuitive. Battery life has been surprisingly solid given the larger screen, and charging is quick enough that I never feel limited. The cameras may not reach the exact versatility of the S22 Ultra’s zoom, but they are more than capable, producing sharp, vibrant photos that are improved with the use of Galaxy AI.

Finally, a foldable I can use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still getting use to the Galaxy Ai, but so far it's been pleasant to learn. The Fold 7 has finally been a foldable I can use a regular on the go phone and unfold it when I want to watch content. It's the perfect size front screen for on the go regular daily functions and a beautiful inner display to enjoy content or multi-tasking. I haven't found anything I don't like yet. Perhaps the camera should be equal to that of the S25-ultra. Then it'll truly be perfect. Either way, there's nothing to not like about this foldable.

Fantastic upgrade from iPhone 13

Been a long time Samsung user for my personal phones, but always preferred to use iPhone for my company issued phone as iOS security allows for seamless integration of Exchange account. It was nice to use native email and calendar app for my work email account, but the multitasking was limited. Pre-ordered the Fold 7 to give it a try, and was completely blown away after the first week using it. Being able to email and chat on Team while attending a Webex call in multiple windows was a game changer.
My only gripe is Samsung's lack of thin clear cases that include a front cover. Normally I don't spend that much on phone cases, but for my personal Flip 7, the Samsung clear case had the best fit out of 10 other cases from Amazon. Hopefully Samsung comes to their senses and finally includes a clear case with front cover, not just the screen protector.
