Great steam cleaner for tile floors . I had struggled finding the right mop for my light colored tiles that ways stayed streaky no matter what I did . With the steamer mop there are no streaks and the floors actually looked clean with minimal effort. Used the handheld steamer on my stovetop and also worked well. Excited to try it in the oven and grill.

Disappointing Performance

I purchased this steam mop primarily for its promised ability to clean walls, but unfortunately, it severely underperforms.
The primary issue is the sheer weight of the unit. Because the combo incorporates the handheld steamer into the main unit, the handle is extremely heavy. After just a few minutes of mopping, my arm and wrist were fatigued.
This weight problem is compounded by a terrible design choice: you must depress and hold the power button the entire time you are mopping to generate steam. This requires constant, tiring pressure, making a simple chore unnecessarily difficult and painful.
Furthermore, the machine simply does not generate enough heat. Despite following the instructions, the steam output did not get hot enough to feel like it was truly sanitizing or effectively cleaning tough spots. It felt more like a damp, heavy wipe than a powerful steam cleaner.
Finally, attempting to use the handheld or upright unit on vertical surfaces like walls is nearly impossible. Not only is the handle too heavy to maneuver comfortably overhead, but the excessively responsive swivel head means the mop pad spins wildly. Instead of allowing for controlled up-and-down motions on the wall, the head constantly swivels sideways, making any attempt at precision cleaning utterly frustrating.
Overall, this unit is awkward, tiring to use, and fails to deliver on its core promise of powerful steam cleaning. I do not recommend it.

I have been wanting to purchase a steam cleaner for many years. After purchasing Bissell's MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off vacuum two years ago, which I am very happy with, I decided to purchase a Bissell steamer. I chose this one, the PowerSteamer Heavy Duty, because of the "heavy duty" in its name. I have only had this a week, and I have cleaned my whole house with it, floors, high windows, glass bricks, mirrors, light fixtures, cinder block walls, and even an old carpet, which would not have tolerated a "proper" carpet cleaning, but came out amazingly clean using just my Bissell vacuum, white vinegar, and this steamer. I do not like using cleaning products anymore, even eco-safe formulas, and this steamer does everything with just water. Some reviews have mentioned that the steam trigger is challenging to hold down consistently, and yes, that is true, but I love this machine so much, and I am so grateful to have it, that I can only see the positive, at least my trigger finger is building strength! I have not used this for clothing yet, but I expect it to work as well for that. In particular, I have a silk blanket, which I air twice a year but never clean because I do not like dry-cleaning fumes, and I think this steamer will be useful to make a gentle cleaning of the blanket without fully getting it wet. There are so many uses, so many possibilities, and there are so many attachments. I cannot praise this steamer enough! Also, to conclude, it is a common observation that most everything these days is overpriced and too often of lesser value and of poor quality. In my estimation, this steamer offers value and quality beyond the price. Of course, I have not owned it very long at the time of this review, but it seems good for the long haul just from observation. In any case, I am more than pleased with it now! It is very lightweight, easy, versatile, and flexible to use.

Horrible machine. Totally does not clean like advertised and is very glitchy. It is also very loud with constant banging noise and does not even push the steam through the pole to the mop.
