According to Netgear, modem cannot be rebooted or diagnosed remotely rendering it useless.

Performance Exceeded Expectations

Upon deep research we purchased NETGEAR Nighthawk 2.5Gbps Internet Speed Cable Modem and with this being the fastest at this time, we have no regrets. Extremely easy to setup. Read our WiFi with no issues. One of our computers internet speed was doubled. After purchase we upgraded our Net cable as well. Thank you for offering a quality item.

Did not work

I have gigabit xfinity and there was n o way the modem could work. Spent around 12 hours in the phone with netgear and xfinity. Netgear said it was xfinity problem. Eventually I ended up using the xfinity gateway and it worked. I have returned and reordered a the modem to see if it was a defective device but am very disappointed

Would not honor warranty

After working okay for a few months, starts dropping connection several times a week, sometimes daily. Replacing with another make modem after only six months. Not worth the money. Unfortunately, I can’t return it for credit as site says it’s not under warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!
