Very Best Modem for Xfinity Voice

As part of my Xfinity Triple Play package I got "gigabit intenet" with up to 1200Mpps (when using ethernet.) This was last summer but I only had a DOCSIS 3.0 Arris Modem. Last week I got the Netgear CM2050V DOCSIS 3.1 Modem. WOW... my ethernet and wifi speeds skyrocketed. Ethernet went from 250 to 940Mbps for my iMac and Apple TV 4K, WiFi on iPad Pro. (5th Gen) went from 170 to 315 Mbps, iPhone Xs WiFi went from 75 range up to 330 Mbps. For comparison speeds were taken from the same location relative to my wifi router on the same day within a couple hours of each other. I set up the Netgear modem with the Xfinity App on my iPhone. It was super easy. Start to finish less than 30 minutes it was up and running. Super happy with the Netgear Modem. I use an Apple Time Capsule as my router. No problems with compatibility. Someday I may switch to a Netgear WiFi 6 router.

Awesome modem. My ISP said the highest speed I could get was 800Mbs, with this new modem I am getting over 900Mbs. Super happy with this so far.

The Xfinity modem router was not cutting it in our household. I bought this modem and paired it with a AX3000 dual band router and the whole house is is covered.

Great modem

Got the Netgear nighthawk to update our modem. It was super easy to set up and connected seamlessly to my internet provider. The instructions were easy to understand. Have been using this modem about a week with no issues. The speed of our connections has definitely improved. Highly recommend the Nighthawk CM2050V

This modem replaced my slower Motorola modem. Set up was fast and easy. Made a quick call to Comcast to have it added to account and was running like new in under 10 minutes.

This has got to be the most up to date and fastest modem on the market. I've come to trust Netgear to be the most reliable products in my house. With this modem's features and spec's, it's unlikely you've have to upgrade for a long time... sorry Netgear...LOL
