Great Modem But

my internet server Suddenlink listed this modem as aproved. Only problem is they did nor support VoIP telephone saervice only eMTA..

Netgear Nighthawk CM2050V - 2 thumbs up!

I was tired of renting my modem from Xfinity, but because we also have our phone from Xfinity, I needed a modem that has voice capabilities. The Netgear CM2050V covers all the bases. Super fast speeds and it was so easy to install and activate. I paired it with a Netgear (RAX50) AX5400 dual band router. Setup was a piece of cake with the Nighthawk app. I highly recommend both these units!

Very reliable service

Very reliable service with no modem related outages on Xfinity at 800Mb/s service. Modem failed after 10 months but have an RMA for it in progress, which is a decent warranty support. I bought another one as I needed the service back, but now I will have a known spare which is always good.

Excellent cable modem with VOIP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I needed to replace my old outdated modem. I hit a small snag where xifnity couldnt register is because the mac address was still assigned to another customer in another region. They stated that this happens when Netgear recycles old mac addresses. I was concerned at first but it was sorted in under an hour on the phone with xfinity support.
