Bought 2 CM2050v’s and am very pleased with both. Set up was a breeze and performance is excellent thus far. Great way to eliminate cable company rental fees plus improve overall performance. Cable company gives you lower end products, so it’s better to control your own performance by using the best product yourself. This item is a must buy.

Needed more speed

I own my own comcast modem. It has a few years on it and a recent speed upgrade to gigabit speeds did not translate to higher speeds on my network. With the help of a technician, we pinpointed the modem as the weak spot. I went online and purchased the Netgear CM2050V. My first speed test showed 960mbs. Since it is my own, I pay no monthly rental fees to comcast.

Very good modem. Perfect way to eliminate those crazy cable rental fees. Set up and maintenance of this device is super easy. Only had modem for a few weeks, so the jury is out on long term success.

Meshes flawlessly

I have installed the Docsis 3.1 Cable Modem for Voice along with the MK 63 router. The CM 2050V is all that it says it is connecting flawlessly with the router and giving a full enternet capability to my home system. I am very impressed with the quality of this product and will happily extend it great capabilities to my friends. Thanks for such a great system. Eric
