The modem paired perfectly with a Netgear RS200 WIFI 7 router. My download speed doubled. The only minor problem I had was the instructions said to use Tel Port 1 but only Tel Port 2 would work with Xfinity.

Rock Solid Performance

Upgraded from my old modem a few weeks ago and so far I'm super impressed. Setup was a breeze, and the performance bump is definitely noticeable. I work from home 90% of the time and we stream HD content to multiple devices all at the same time with no issues.

So far, it’s working well

It took a while for this modem voice to finally work with my Xfinity landline. It took a few calls from Netgear and Xfinity support, but eventually this Netgear nighthawk and Orbi Mesh WiFi system are working together with my Xfinity voice and streaming in my 5400 square feet home.

Nighthawk CM2050V

I needed a modem with voice so there wasn't much to chose from. It works fine but setting it up was unbelievably ridiculous. A relative is a tech guy, but it took him 8 hours to work thru the issues (like updating firmware, unable to login)and get it up and running. I can't imagine the average person putting up with this and 999 out of 1000 routers are likely returned. Get it together Netgear!

had a little trouble setting up the new modem, needed help from Xfinity, had a little challenge removing the old modem off the system.
Other wise very happy with my new modem.
