Easy to install, copes well with the heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to install this unit myself because it is not as heavy as larger ones. It does a good job even in the extreme heat that we have had during the last couple of weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air conditioner is keeping the room nice and cold on the low cool setting on number 6 during these hot and very humid last few days that the temperatures were in the 90's.... I really enjoy their conditioner... It's doing what is expected of it and more...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are powerful little air conditioners...two of them cool 2/3's of my 1900 sq foot home. They are very responsive- from low cool to high cool is an instant difference, and the temperature choices give me some fine-tuning capability. A bonus is the noise level; it is not overly loud, and they never make that horrible grinding noise that older units do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An extra star because when it worked it worked

I bought this window unit at the end of May. I have a small space that it cooled wonderfully...until it didn’t. The compressor has stopped working so I don’t get cold air anymore. I checked the seal, cleaned the filter, followed the reset steps to no avail. I have a dog that I’m trying to keep cool. I don’t run it 24/7. I just don’t understand why something brand new would malfunction so soon. I’m very disappointed in this product. Unfortunately I don’t have money to go out and buy a replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could be better

Bought this a month ago and the product has to be on high cool and 7 for the room to feel cool even when its not that hot outside

Hi Jodi_b! Thank you you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Some tips that can assist with your matter, is to ensure that there are not any items blocking the vents. Restricted air flow can cause the air conditioner to not cool as designed.
If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. You may need to allow the air conditioner to run for several hours in order to notice a considerable difference, after making adjustments.
