[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This economical air conditioner is perfect for keeping your bedroom cool at night. It was really easy to install too despite having horizontal opening windows.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an older ac for my bedroom. I’ve found that anything lower than #7(the coldest) setting doesn’t cool my bedroom. #7 works even on hottest days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First night I used it in the bedroom, I set it on a medium level and within an hour, the bedroom was very cold. When the compressor kicks on, however, it can get quite loud and jarring.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought to cool an enclosed porch that does not have insulation. So far so good. You only have to attach the "accordion" panels to each side. I'm older so I had my son-in-law lift it into the window. Very easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this small model A/C because I didn't want to spend much cash to cool down my workshop (not being an actual living space where I sleep, but where I spend a good portion of every day), and I am more than impressed with the quality. My workshop is larger than the recommended room size for this unit at 15 x 25 feet, yet this 5000 BTU beauty cools the space down to a comfortable working temp within an hour if the room is around 80 - 90 degrees. Being a workshop it isn't very well insulated, yet my new A/C still gets the job done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my central AC unit died and was too costly to fix due to how old my house is, I decided to purchase two of these units for two of my bedrooms. These simple units work very well for rooms that are approx 150 sq ft and I am even able to cool a room across the hall from one of the bedrooms using a fairly powerful fan, which is nice because I cannot use a window unit in that room due to the outlet being to far from the window. The cord length is approximately 6' which is longer than many other units from other manufacturers. This unit is very easy to install using nothing more that a power drill to drill holes through metal window sills and a Phillips screwdriver. The unit is not Energy Star certified but it does not use a much energy. I am very happy with these units.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for the Frigidaire AC that conked out after 6 summers. It's a good AC, good price and works great!
