Good Cool Air but poor water drainage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cools my room very well with a reasonable noise level. It is easy to use on a timer which helps my electric bill. But I wish the unit had a proper drainage hole. No matter how much you tilt the unit, water still lays in the collection pan and the fan splatters it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit& the first 1 lasted less then a month due to the ac part braking.. Since I received this new unit it has been working good.. I hope it doesn’t go out like the last unit but so far it’s lasting longer then the other unit

Perfect solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several apartments in St. Louis. Boy, our summers are hot! I like to keep my residents cool with Frigidaire's window units. They save energy because you don't have to cool the entire apartment all the time. The 5000 BTU packs a punch. I buy two or three of them for each apartment.

Actually pretty simple to install, helped to have 2 ppl. did not need supports on outside of house. we've been loving being cool at night! Thanks for a great product!
