[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only cools small area near air conditioner. Does not reach out much further than about 40 sq feet

Hi, Rich125!
A 5,000 BTU unit should cool a room up to 150 Sq. Ft. If cold air is being exhausted from the front vent, the AC is working. There are other factors that will cause the room to be too warm even if the AC is cooling. Here are some tips to address your concerns. Set the temperature to a lower setting and position louvers for better air distribution. To prevent the air from escaping, close doors, windows, etc. I hope you find this information helpful, but if need further assistance, the best way to reach us is via chat at Frigidaire.com. You can also contact us via phone at 800-374-4432. Our Customer Care and Live Chat teams are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-8 pm EST.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little air conditioner works great. Keeps my sons bedroom ice cold and it is pretty quiet. We have no complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this product a couple months ago. The original had a faulty compressor that wouldn’t start. I contacted customer service to see about getting a replacement, they were extremely nice and helpful. I received the replacement quickly and it works wonderfully. Very happy with this purchase and their customer service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a third floor that is my office/game room and with the computers and screens on the room would easily get to 80F but this is able to compete with those heat generators. It's a bit loud but I use head phones whole gaming and my mic doesn't pick it up so it's not a big deal

Great bang for buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago just in time before the icky humidity in NYC. It’s great that it’s a bit on the smaller side because I have a small window. It blasts cool air but not super freezing cold which is how I like it. The fan is great for white noise at night. I was able to assemble it all by myself within 2 hours, so with help that could probably be reduced by half.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using it to cool a 10x12 shed that is insulated. It cooled the building very fast and is maintaining temp at 75 degrees with a 105 heat index.

Powerful Little Beast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a Frigidaire that ran well for at least 10 years. So when it was time to get a new air conditioner I thought I would stick with what worked. The mini air conditioner is surprisingly powerful and does a good job of cooling off my 120 sq .ft. room. In fact, I've only run it on low. The temperature gage is only okay, as it seem to run either cold or not so cold. But all in all it's a good little unit and does what I wanted. Cool off the room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought we would want an air conditioner but this week long heat wave got to us. It has been a life saver.
