I'm very pleased with this Window Unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this window air conditioner mostly as a backup in case my central a/c unit broke at an inconvenient time, because it will cool my bedroom, and possibly more of my tiny living space. But I'm also considering using it to control temperatures in a seed starting and seedling growing area. The unit was packaged in such a way that I could re-package it after making sure it cooled okay, and I appreciated that. I also appreciate the fact that it seems to have mechanical controls rather than electronic. It's not often that I'm completely and totally happy with a purchase, but this Frigidaire is an exception.
