[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is perfect for a small room to enhance cooling for that room. Quickly cools down room to a comfortable temperature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy install; lightweight (compared to other window units); comes with a decent amount of weather strip/insulation, but not enough to go around the whole unit; keeps bedroom cool at max setting, but could be colder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was the easiest air conditioner to ever put in and it works good but on the really hot days it doesn't seem to make the room really cool. It does cool it down but not as much as air conditioners usually do. Good for the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good little a/c for the price. Just a little disappointed with the fit in my window. Compared to previous frigidaire & whirlpool units there were gaps that I had to stuff with foam to prevent insects from entering.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had it only about a month, but it works well for now. I've found Frigidaire appliances to work very well in the past, so I hope that holds up. I do have two complaints, however.
(1) Filters should never come out to the side. Think about it: many people have rather deep windows. How am I supposed to pull the filter out and clean it without removing the air conditioner? Is it that hard to make the filter come out the front?
(2) Why does this require such a wide window? The unit is 16" wide; what on earth does it need 7" of clearance for? It fits in narrower windows easily, though you have to cut the bracket. I realize I'm forfeiting the warranty this way (so I REALLY hope this unit holds up), but my windows are only about 22" wide: just shy enough that I have to cut about 1" off the bracket, but once in it's fine.
