Cooling my brew cave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wasn’t easy to find such a small unit that is an actual air conditioner. Everyone wants to sell you a cooling fan that uses water to cool the air. This is an actual AIR CONDITIONER!! It’s perfect for the small room that I ferment beer in.

Good Ol' Simple Window AC

Pretty hard to find something like this these days, options are few and far between. Very simple, easy to use and gets the job done.

Wasted money

Installed the unit today, and it has been running for almost three hours, blowing warm air. Do not buy this model. Save your money and buy a better quality unit.

For a newly installed unit that is not cooling properly, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Confirm the unit has been running long enough: Depending on the model and room conditions, it may take several hours for the unit to begin cooling effectively after installation.
- Check the temperature settings: Make sure the cooling mode is selected, and the thermostat/temperature setting is set lower than the current room temperature.
- Verify airflow: Ensure air vents are not blocked and that the air filter (if equipped) is clean and properly installed.
- Check installation details: Confirm the unit is installed according to the installation instructions, including proper clearance and that any shipping materials have been removed.
