[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The family needed a small a/c unit to combat the heat in Northern CA, and this unit delivered. It came with all of the necessary hardware to mount, with the exception of a sheet of plywood that I cut down in order to mount the unit in a horizontal-sliding vinyl window frame (a vertically-sliding frame would not need plywood). This unit works well for the space that we are in. I'm completely happy with my purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like most window a/c 's it's a little noisy when compressor kicks on. Nice color, easy to install. Works well in our 200 s.f. bedroom with southern exposure and mid-day sun. We use it just for sleeping. Cools room pretty quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air conditioner works good in my room. It cools the room very good and it does not use much energy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good air conditioner for the size and quiet. I'm even able to move the air into a different room (while keeping the bedroom comfortable), which helps the central air keep up with the climbing heat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few issues. 1.the unit is too loud for my bedroom 2. when put on low cool it just blows moist air and I wake up in a cool sweat. 3. the side panels don't adjust to fit correctly in my window. I should have returned the unit and purchased a more expensive quiter unit with more options.

Today’s high efficiency compressors may have a high-pitched chatter sound during the cooling cycle. This along with all of the other operating sounds can be found in your Use and Care Guide on page 5. Regarding the cooling issue, we suggest turning the selector to a higher COOL position. Room temperature below 70 F (21 C). Cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 70 F (21 C). Also, the temperature sensing tube may be touching the cold coil, located behind air filter. Straighten tube away from coil if this is the case. If we can be of assistance in any way, please connect with us via live chat Monday-Friday 8:30 am- 8 pm EST or by phone at 1-800-374-4432.
