[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this unit in a small 15x6 room. I'm using the low setting with the thermostat on the coldest temperature (#7) and my room is very cold. However, in the evening it gets too cold so I lower the thermostat one setting (#6) and for some reason it just can't keep up. The temperature is warmer than you would expect if you just lowered it by 1 setting. So, it's either freezing or it's not cool enough to be comfortable. But all in all, it's a great little AC unit which is also very quiet.

ScottRich, thank you for your review! We're happy that you are enjoying your air conditioner and it's quiet operation. We are concerned about the temperature issue you brought to our attention and would like to provide some tips that may prove helpful.
Whenever there is an issue with regulating the temperature of your appliance, it is recommended to ensure that your air conditioner is the proper size for the dimensions of the room it is installed in. We also recommend ensuring that the room the appliance is installed in has proper insulation, because without it, the air conditioner will struggle to maintain the desired temperature. if you have further questions, don't hesitate to connect with us via Live Chat or by phone at 1-800-374-4432 Monday-Friday 8:30 am-8 pm EST. Thanks for choosing Frigidaire. - Damon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house A/C went out so we had to come up with a temporary solution. This mighty little window A/C is chugging away and keeping our main floor nice and cool. I have plans to use it in my wife's she-shed after we get the house A/C fixed.
