We apologize for any matters you have experienced with your air conditioner and thank you for bringing it to our attention. This is not how we want our customers to feel about their products. A thing to remember, all air conditioner make some kind of noise when operation and its certainly normal. Example of noises or sound you may hear; Vibration, High Pitched Chatter, Pinging or Swishing, Gurgle/Hiss, Sound of Rushing Air. For not cold enough concern, if the you feels cold air being exhausted from the front vent of AC unit, the unit is working. Is the room enclosed? The unit will struggle to maintain temperatures if new air is constantly entering the room. Close all openings (windows, doors, side curtains on the unit, and window framing the unit sits into) in the room where the unit is located. Installation is correct. Ensure nothing is blocking or impeding air flow at the entire front or entire back of the unit. All louvers on sides must also not be cover or blocked. Impeding the air flow will cause the unit to struggle to maintain temperature. What is in the room? Unit will struggle to maintain in an environment with large heat producing appliances (examples: pizza oven, computer server, manufacturing machinery.) Small but mighty AC

Cools my room perfectly!

Efficient, mostly quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very efficient little air conditioner that cools my bedroom without a problem, an immediate big plus as I’ve been through some things trying to find an air conditioner that actually COOLS. (Looking at you, HomeLabs.) This unit was also a snap to install, although that brings me to my first little niggle: because it’s small it doesn’t overhang the inside window sill like a larger AC, which meant I couldn’t center the unit and also remove the air filter—which slides out from the side—for cleaning. The window frame prevented it. I had to install the unit nearly flush to the opposite side of the window frame to create enough room to take out and reinstall the filter. If your window isn’t recessed as much as mine this may not be an issue.
My other small complaint is the unit makes random high-pitched whines and whistles while the compressor is running. Usually the compressor is so quiet I’m not even sure it’s on, but occasionally it gets a little rowdy. It’s not awful but I notice it. Oh well, I’m finally getting a good night’s sleep again, and at an affordable price, and that’s what matters! Overall I’m quite happy.

Fan motor seized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my unit last July, ran it off and on for about 3 months before pulling it for the season. I made sure it was drained and dry before putting it away in its own plastic container. Pulled it out of the storage closet yesterday and tested it. The unit powers up but the fan does not move the air at all no matter the setting. Very disappointing. Hopefully the extended warranty plan will cover it. It worked great last summer, nice little window unit until now.
