Awesome simple Frigidaire 5000 BTU window A/C can't be beat !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a simple, magnificent, awesome 5000 BTU window air conditioner! I purposely bought this because of the "old fashioned" knobs, I didn't want digital readout and thermostat in it. I've had problems in the past with other brands where the thermostat didn't work properly and the machine would shut down when it shouldn't have. So nice to just turn it on and it runs until I turn it off. And who needs a remote control for a window air conditioner? Have we become THAT lazy we can't get up, walk over to the machine and switch the controls. Come on people, maybe that is why obesity is rampant in America. All in all a wonderful unit that works great, just check out the amazing reviews and satisfaction of other purchasers too. The simpler the better. Highly recommended!

Decent for Its Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my small bedroom (unsure of the exact dimensions, but I am sure it is within the specifications for this model). It has served me well so far this summer. In general, I find myself having to turn it to High Cool to actually cool things down. Not too surprising for a lower end model like this. Definitely do not purchase this if you have a larger room to cool.
