[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to be working well, only used it yesterday. The side panels let some air inside on the top and bottom accordion sections. The four screws to attach the top rail, two center ones don’t hold, just keep spinning. I dropped one inside the unit and had to disassemble it to get it out, so be careful, lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have central AC in a 75 year old EOG brick row home. The walls are not insulated so the upstairs does not cool (or heat) as well as the lower level that is closer to the heat pump system that supplies AC. My son has an upstairs music studio where he composes, records and gives lessons. It can get quite hot in the summer unless the AC is turned quite low (which costs a lot and makes the downstairs too cold). We bought this window AC to solve the problem and it has done exactly that with the room being very comfortable without the rest of us "freezing" downstairs.
