Kids (3yo and 5yo) love the bed. Took a while to build--especially the stairs--but the final product is perfect for our needs. It is sturdy and looks great. It can hold way more weight on the top bunk than other bunk beds I looked at (i. e. 400 lbs vs. 150/200 lbs).
Very pleased with the way this came out. Took a long time to build, but very worth it. Only drawback is the price. A bit more expensive than other places
The stairs are a nightmare to put together. They also came with the wrong holes drilled in them so we'll have to drill new ones. I don't know that it's worth the money. I'm not overly impressed.
I'm very happy with this purchase and the mattresses are very comfortable! They're softer than a twin Avocado kids mattress I purchased for a daybed. The assembly was not super difficult, I'm a 55 yr old woman and put the bed together by myself. My kids helped with the stairs though I could have managed that also. I love that it's not super high as my oldest granddaughter is just turning 4. It will be perfect for sleepovers. I like the Pecan color though initially I would have preferred this in a lighter, cool toned finish but did not want white or grey. Communication and shipping was quick and I appreciated the sale!
I was so excited for this bed since it is only 4 feet tall and less scary for our little guys. While putting together, no big issues with the main portion, except the adhesive stickers on every piece that are a pain to remove. Once I got to the stairs section, I was frustrated at the fasteners as they seemed to not line up properly and left the stairs looking kind of cheap/poor quality. I'm just a little disappointed in the overall look of the close details of the bed. Despite all of the adult problems, my boys absolutely love it.
