[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Its rugged titanium case, premium sapphire crystal, big screen, and larger battery are exactly what power users need. But to make the ultimate wearable, here is my blueprint for the future.
First, fix the ergonomics. The back of the watch should be curved to match the natural anatomy of the wrist. Instead of a flat sensor block balancing on top of the arm, a contoured back lets it sit flush, lower, and vastly more secure. Bring back a classic round display pushed to a massive 48mm or larger, alongside the physical rotating bezel for side-to-side navigation. Upgrade the flat buttons to rounded, rotating crowns that spin to scroll menus up and down.
Inside, upgrade to a high-density carbon battery paired with hyper-fast charging so I can fully juice it while taking a quick shower. For software, use the OnePlus method: a lightweight dual-engine OS (merging Tizen efficiency for daily tracking with Wear OS strictly for Google Store apps) to save massive power. Allow YouTube/Google Music to stream directly to Bluetooth headphones completely independent of a phone. Finally, give us a temperature sensor, a more robust ECG, and built-in blood pressure estimation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, where do I begin? I love my Galaxy Watch Ultra. As an avid mountain biker and snowboarder, it checks every box. Having less weight and items to carry when adventures call is key for me. The built in Galaxy AI has been so good too. Quick and responsive when I need it most and don't have time to type in the query, voice command is awesome. While surfing, no problems except the touch screen is less responsive when wet (of course it is.) The screen clarity and brightness is the best in the business too. It would basically only need, say, a Bat Signal to make it perfect! Using the Samsung Store is super easy to add apps, get new watch faces, and have great customizable features. Rugged? Check. Sleek? Check. Practical? Check check. Its a small phone on my wrist. Calling and texting makes it worth it's weight in gold. Don't be fooled by its handsome rugged appearance. Down deep, it's all soft and gushy where it counts. Great to have in a meeting to keep in touch, without having to pull out my phone to text my kids. I get lots of compliments from (the other saps who use the fruit devices) all kinds of friends and even strangers. The Samsung Pay also let's me purchase things without a phone or having to bring my wallet with me. Super-handy.
I'm looking forward to purchasing the newer version in a couple of months once it is released because I know from this one that it'll be amazing as well.
