This is by far the best watch Samsung has!!

I have been using Samsung Galaxy watches for years now and have always held them to very high standards for what I need. They have always surpassed them. Every time. This watch is no exception to that and takes the cake when it comes to my high standards. This is an incredible watch and the best I have ever had. The features are excellent. The styling is perfect and the battery life is amazing. Well done Samsung!!!

I have used a Fitbit Sense 2 for years and only switched as the battery had started to age and over years of construction I had scratched it up. Comparing to that, the Galaxy Ultra 2025 is huge in thickness, making it difficult to get my arm in and out of sleeves, never struggled with the Sense. The battery life is absolutely terrible. Sense would last 5-7 days, I am lucky to get 2 days out of the Ultra, even being in the battery saver mode. Heart rate is terrible if you are sweaty or in water, makes you look tachycardic. Notifications don't come thru, even tho they are turned of for texts and calls. Overall disappointed in the watch, I traded in my Sense 2, thinking I had traded up, the answer is no.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Galaxy Watch Ultra offers up to 100 hours of battery life when in Power saving mode, up to 60 hours of battery life without Power Saving mode, and up to 48 hours in Exercise power saving mode. This is based on typical usage so results may vary. There are various reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For instance, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Please take a moment to check out, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to learn what factors, if any, may be impacting the life of your device. When you activate the auto heart rate tracking feature, or when the Galaxy Watch recognizes your exercise, the Galaxy Watch will automatically track your heart rate. When measuring your heart rate, wear the Galaxy Watch snugly on your arm above your wrist as shown in the figure below. Here's a few tips to ensure an accurate reading:
The accuracy of the heart rate sensor may be diminished depending on measurement conditions and surroundings.
Use the HR feature only for measuring your heart rate.
Do not look directly at the heart rate sensor’s lights. Doing so may impair your vision.
Cold ambient temperatures may affect your measurement; during winter or cold weather.
Take heart rate measurements when you are seated and relaxed.
If you receive a reading that is very different from your expected heart rate, rest for 30 minutes and then measure again.
Smoking or consuming alcohol before taking measurements may cause your heart rate to be different from your normal.
Do not talk, yawn, or breathe deeply while taking heart rate measurements.
Heart rate measurement is affected by physical factors such as light absorption and reflection, such as blood circulation/blood pressure, skin condition, and location and concentration of blood vessels.
Clean the heart rate sensor when it is dirty.
If your device becomes hot to the touch, please remove it until it cools.
You can choose which apps send notifications to your watch and how much information is displayed on your screen. Once you customize your preferences, you’ll only see the reminders and messages that you want to. The "cushion" design, which surrounds the circular screen with a square bezel, is seen as unique and stylish. Many appreciate the durable, rugged feel that doesn't compromise on a premium look.

I love my new galaxy watch ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the large size of the Galaxy watch ultra. I like an actual bezzle, but the classic 8 is slightly smaller than this watch, and my eyes aren't getting any younger, so bigger is better. I am still at the bottom of the learning curve - still learning all the cool things I can do with Galaxy AI on the watch. But the most impressive feature I have found is the alert if my phone is no longer near me. I wish I knew about this feature last summer when I left my phone had a gas station. Once I was driving down the freeway a mile or 2 away, and realized I have left my phone there, turned around, but it was too late. The phone was gone. Now every time I leave my phone, My watch gives me an alert. I love This feature and will never turn it off.

It's definitely an improvement from my last galaxy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's definitely an improvement from my last galaxy watch. I had the 4 and this one is light years ahead of the 4. I did try the Gemini AI and found it to be lacking. It sometimes can be worse than Google assistant. I also wish my Ultra watch would give me more customization features. I don't like how I put it on in the morning and unlock it and it immediately brings up Samsung health to ask if today's the day I'll hit all 3 health goals. Every. Single. Day. I like the health features and don't want to turn them off but get out of my rear end about hitting daily goals. Some days I want to just put on a watch and that's it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has been a beast so far. Battery life is great, the screen is super bright, and it handles everything I throw at it. Galaxy AI on the watch makes it even better, quick replies, health insights, and shortcuts feel way more natural.
It’s tough and feels premium on the wrist, but still comfortable to wear all day. Between fitness tracking, notifications, and AI features, this watch does it all without slowing me down. Definitely one of the best smartwatches I’ve used.
