My Take on the Galaxy Watch Ultra
on August 23, 2025
Posted by: BlkAIGuy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch is a game-changer, but it has its faults. As someone who spends a lot of time at the gym, works a demanding job, and maintains a social life, I need a reliable gadget, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra mostly delivers, though it has some quirks.
At the gym, it shines with its durable titanium body and sapphire screen, and I've customized the Quick button to start workouts easily. However, the heart rate monitor can be inaccurate during high-intensity intervals, which is frustrating.
Socially, the watch keeps me connected without being glued to my phone. "Chat Assist" offers smart reply suggestions, but the AI isn't always accurate, requiring some manual tweaks.
At work, it functions well for checking emails and calendar events, and "Transcript Assist" is invaluable for recording thoughts. However, its large size can feel clunky under a dress shirt cuff.
The battery life isnt as impressivenas advertised, lasting days even with all features active.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the watch ultra 2025 in blue to replace my faithful original Galaxy watch.
My initial fears about the size difference were unfounded as I find the watch to be perfectly wearable and usable.
The Galaxy ai features make it a delight to interact with and the additional health features make me feel comfortable with my decision to help with my daily health routines.
The easily interchangeable strap makes this watch a future proof classic.

My Ultimate Companion for Fitness and Connectivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch on my wrist has become indispensable. It's far more than a timepiece; it's my personal health coach, assistant, and wallet. During the day, it tracks every workout with incredible accuracy, nudges me to move when I've been sitting too long, and keeps me connected with notifications that I can act on without ever touching my phone. The display is bright and beautiful, and the sheer number of customizable watch faces means it can be sporty one moment and elegant the next.
Galaxy AI works subtly but powerfully in the background. The sleep tracking analytics are incredibly detailed, using AI to give me a comprehensive sleep score and actionable advice. The smart replies it suggests for incoming messages are surprisingly on-point, allowing me to respond with a single tap. It’s this built-in intelligence that makes the watch feel less like a gadget and more like a personal assistant.
The Ecosystem Advantage: The watch truly shines when paired with my other devices. I can control the music playing on my Galaxy Buds during a run, find my Z Flip when it’s hiding in the couch cushions, and see a holistic view of my health by combining its daily activity data with the overnight sleep data from my Galaxy Ring. It’s the perfect bridge between all my Samsung gear. An absolute must-have.

The greatest features & capabilities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this watch! I can't say enough good things about it. I use it to monitor my overall everyday health from exercise, diet, sleep... you name it. I'm in the military and the compass feature has been very accurate for land navigation, as well the ruggedness waterproofing durability in the outdoor elements. The AI assistant has also been a great feature by simply speaking into the watch, whether to answer calls, text, changing music, or simply asking the search engine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new watch with Galaxy AI can do it all. This is my first smart watch and can't see myself without it - it helps me with reminders throughout my busy day and can even help me keep track of my health! Much more than an item to tell time. As a busy mental health therapist, I just wish I had obtained one sooner :)

The Ultimate AI Wrist Companion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enough about how much I love my new Galaxy Ultra Watch. My husband Jimmy and I both got one in August, and it's been a total game-changer. As a nurse, I'm always on the go, and this watch has everything I need to stay on top of my day. The design is sleek and durable, a big plus for a Level 1 Trauma Center. The battery life is just incredible—it lasts for days, even with all my tracking and notifications going.
The health and fitness features are top-notch. I've been using it for everything from tracking my sleep to monitoring my heart rate and stress levels. It even gives me an energy score to help me balance work and rest, which is super helpful when you're a nurse professional development practitioner. But honestly, what truly blows me away is the Galaxy AI component. It's so much more than just a smart assistant.
The Galaxy AI features are what really make this watch feel like it's from the future. The suggested replies for messages are a lifesaver when I'm in a hurry. Instead of fumbling with a tiny keyboard, it gives me a few smart, context-aware options that are usually perfect. The way it helps with conversation summaries is also a great perk. And the seamless integration with my Galaxy Z Fold 7 is exactly what I've come to expect from Samsung's ecosystem. The Ultra Watch keeps me connected and on track. It's a fantastic piece of tech that I would recommend to anyone.
