Compact frozen dessert maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the compactness of this ice cream maker. I had a very bulky old fashioned ice cream maker that required the use of salt and ice to churn and I have now replaced it with this one. I gifted my old one to my best friend.
In all honesty, the hardest part of using this ice cream maker is having to wait 24 hours since the ice cream mixture needs to be prepped by storing in the freezer all those hours. Once you’ve waited the appropriate prep time, making the frozen creations is a breeze only requiring 3 minutes to churn and create fluffy ice cream, milk shakes, sorbets, or carbonated frozen creations. With the press of a button and slowly pushing down, you get a delicious frozen treat. It comes with 5 preset buttons including a button that is for adding mix-ins to your creations. The box comes with 3 different 1/2 pints allowing for different flavors in your freezer at once.

Compact & Works Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently have a frozen dessert maker from a competitor brand so I was happy to compare the two devices. This Cusinart FastFreeze is easy to disassemble & store in a cabinet which is great for smaller kitchens. The previous one i have is larger & more difficult to tuck away. These cups are smaller than the other brands but this makes them easier to store in the freezer without taking up too much space. The FastFreeze requires the user to push a button while pushing down the handle. This step was a little cumbersome & took me a couple tries to get the blade to work through the ice cream. I was able to get it working & it left me with a nice creamy ice cream with a texture between regular ice cream & soft serve. Definitely let the ice cream sit out for the 10 minutes before processing. It is not nearly as loud as my other unit but I like that the other one is hands-free. This is a great option for those that want a homemade frozen dessert but may not have a lot of kitchen space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't absolute awesome thing to use, especially in the summer. It is so compact and dishwasher is safe and at least the cuffs are, and then it has the 3 different detachable pints. That's quiet, and it's just so easy to use the instructions where you throw everything in and go, and then you can turn to your different style of what you want. There's snow cones. There's Frozen yogurt, there's milk shakes, they're smoothies. There's protein ice cream. It is so cool. I absolutely would recommend this anybody. It takes like 5 minutes. Throw your ingredients in and go. You just press what you want, easy done and done

So fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice cream machine is so fun. I love how they have 5 different settings to mix up your ice cream and slushy dreams! My kids love how they can make their own personal ice creams and try multiple recipe mixtures at once! Only downside is the 24 hour advance planning for the ice creams and that there are only 3 cups included. I’m trying to find more to add so we can each make our own or even have some always made in the freezer.

Little gadget for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good little gadget that is fun to use with kids. We enjoyed the slushie mode the most. The simple vanilla ice cream recipe included in the book was a huge bust - followed the directions and it resulted in a soupy yogurt consistency nowhere near soft serve. Will this replace a blender or other ice cream machine? No, definitely not. Is it a fun novelty gadget with a relatively small footprint which makes it easy to store? Yes! Build quality is good and all pieces are easy to clean. The machine is quiet quiet while churning/shaving making it a nice option for friends with loud noise aversions.
Ultimately my very old stand mixer ice cream attachment makes much better consistency ice cream and my blender does a better job crushing and shaving ice but this Cuisinart ice cream maker is a lot more fun for my toddler to "help" with.

Quick, Easy, and Delicious Ice Cream

I made vanilla ice cream as my very first recipe, and it turned out perfect—creamy, delicious, and ready in just 3 minutes! It was incredibly simple to use with the preset settings, and cleanup was super easy. I love how compact it is for storage, and I’m so excited to try milkshakes, slushies, and more. This little machine is a total game-changer for quick, homemade treats. Highly recommend!

Makes anything into ice cream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gadget is amazing! I love that it doesn’t take up too much space and it doesn’t need to stay on my counter permanently. It is super easy to use and I love that they give three containers to make ice cream out of. You just need to freeze your base for 24 hours and then when you’re ready to eat, you can let it defrost for five minutes and then blend it using the machine. It instantly creates ice cream! It is like magic and I love it so much - I can’t wait to play around with it and experiment with new recipes. Makes it super easy to have healthier ice creams at home!
