[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched to Norelco electric shavers years ago and saw a definate improvement in the shaving experience. I had recently had to replace my Norelco electric shaver due to dropping it on the the floor several times. I purchased the new Norelco 9000 and was pleasantly surprised that how much it was improved. The bottom line is that the 9000 runs at a lower RPM and cuts closer on the very first and subsequent passes over my face. It effortlessly shaves faster and quieter than previous units that I have owned. The 9000 is a definite improvement that I wasn't expecting.
