[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for emergency use when you can't shave with a razor. Like if your in the hospital or traveling. Otherwise it works OK. Gets pretty close but takes a very long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver does provide a close shave but even after the 21 day "break-in" period I find that it will grab and pull enough to fell the pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Braun for years. I was hoping that the Phillips razer would give me a little closer shave. It does not. I will probably go back to Braun.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best electric shaver I’ve used in my 30+ years of shaving. Shaves very close without irritation. However, the nose trimmer does not do a good job - needs to be redesigned. For that item, I’ve deducted a star.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still getting used to powered razor. Better, closer shave than unit I trie3d previously. Generally pleased and inpressed. Haven't mastered getting close just under my nose. But face and neck good otherwise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It always tells me I'm shaving wrong! I recently had a "chin strap" to go along with my beard and I shaved it when I got this shaver; figured for the time being it'd be easier to shave most of my face in one go without having to edge against that jaw line of facial hair. This shaver leaves my skin smooth as can be; I'm really impressed with it. It has built in sensors and connects to a phone app I rarely use, but on the device itself it indicates whether you're "doing it wrong" and not using the circular motion recommended, as well as overall time use (not too much or it could irritate!) and whether it needs to be cleaned. It does have issues when shaving against a line, for example the bottom of my new sideburns - you really have to get it in there and rub it around a lot to get it to grab those stubborn ones. It can be used wet or dry. I haven't tried using it wet (in the shower) yet but I don't know if I will, since my face requires some navigation to shave around my beard and all, but I'll try it at some point I'm sure. Oh and this thing is super quiet you can barely tell it's on while it's running! I'm going to go practice my technique - I don't want my shaver to be mad at me!
