[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this shaver as a replacement for my much older Phillips S8950, which served me well. This i9000 is very good and provides a close shave with the circular motion recommended, but I still have to go back to several spots and cannot complete the shave in under 6 minutes. I continue to strive for a shorter time. Clearly, I have progressed in mastering the technique over time. This i9000 is so sharp and smooth on the skin that I have given up using a pre-shave lotion that was indispensable before, for so many years. I do prefer the smaller and contoured shape of the older S8950 to this newer, square design; I don't know exactly why, but I would not change this I9000 otherwise. In summary, a great shaver if a little expensive.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor does a decent job with the extended space between the outside of the head and the cutting blade makes it very difficult to get close under your nose and other areas. My older 8000 series was different and always did a much better job in those areas Also, Queenie pod is a great idea and a good size but it’s too bad. It can’t charge your razor like the old cleaning station of my 8000 series
It has outstanding features such as the Blue-tooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaver was a gift, and I am very happy with it. It provides close shaves. I also like the self-cleaning feature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous Norelco shaver (over ten years old) is still going great, but I wanted a newer shaver, and why go with anything other than Philips Norelco. The positioning of the floating heads give me a nice close shave. Cleaning/rinsing is easy, and I run the cleaning solution system three days a week after rinsing; takes less than a minute. I haven't tried it in the shower; not sure that I will. Accidents happen, and I don't want to drop it; that's just me. That aside, it's a really nice shaver with enough bells and whistles to enjoy. Lastly, after weeks of use, I have yet to recharge the battery. Oh, and my old shaver? It's in my suitcase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 1st electric razor. I'm 70. I only wish that I had tried it when my skin didn't move around so much 🤓👍
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor keeps cutting me around my atom's apple and make me bleed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I forgot my ten year old corded Norelco for a week travel, so I bought this new Norelco to use on the trip and replace my home based twenty year old Norelco rechargeable thinking that this would be a leap into the future. New, yes; better, not really. IMHO the “new shape” head is definitely not as good as the shape it replaced.
