Tradeoffs for less storage space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look of this slow cooker. The black matte finish is attractive and easy to wipe clean. The oblong design makes it suitable for many recipes, including larger meats. I made a slow cooker Lasagna and the shape was perfect for this recipe. The large floor was perfect for making a base layer for recipes with layered ingredients.
While the folding handles did take approximately 3 inches off of the storage width, I did not feel that this feature was beneficial to me. I also did not feel confident using these handles to carry the slow cooker with a heavy load. While they did seem like they were securely attached when new, I am afraid with use that they might deteriorate over time.
When using recipes that I have used many times before, the meals got finished in less time than in the past and advised in the directions, while being kept on the low setting the whole time. I would suggest watching closely until familiar with this particular slow cooker. On one recipe I noticed a hot spot on the side where some of the meal became dark brown and crispy.

It works fine, but we still need bigger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’s nothing wrong with this product. It works fine. High, low, keep warm. Just like our current one. We were hoping the oval shape (we currently have a round one) would allow us to fit more in the pot, but it doesn’t. It actually seems smaller, but your usage may vary.
We live on a farm. We get chickens from local farmers, and naturally raised chickens are a lot bigger than the commercially raised, meaty ones from the supermarket. If you put one of those chickens in this, you only have room for the chicken. Since one chicken lasts us 2-3 meals, we like to load up the cooker with potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic—enough for the extra meals. This crock pot is too small for that. However, since now have two of them, we use one for just the chicken and one for the vegetables. Solves the problem.

Perfect Meals Every Time

It cooks evenly every time, whether it’s soups, roasts, or chili, and everything comes out tender and flavorful. The 6-quart size is perfect for a family of 4 to 6, with plenty of room for larger meals.

Nice quick crockpot with one area for improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great crockpot for making food for several people at once. It heats up quickly and I like that it has three tempersture settings. One thing.that could be improved is the legs on the bottom of the crockpot. It slipped around the counter when trying to serve the food. If there were some rubber on the legs to keep it from moving would be helpful

perfect crock pot

I have cook ribs with potatoes and it came out perfect. it is also easy to transport for Church dinners. will be buying this as gifts for Christmas, birthdays and wedding showers. 6 qt slow cooker

I use a slow cooker for just about every day for dinners. Since working I can set it morning and dinner is done when I get home. Weekends and game day appetizers. I would recommend this product for wedding gifts.

Updated Crockpot – Looks Great

It's very sleek looking, the black and chrome will look perfect in any modern kitchen.
The folding handles are a nice touch, much easier to store (which is always an issue with crockpots)!
A slight negative would be that there is now way to secure the lid with clamps, which might be an issue with forming a perfect seal when cooking over hours. So be careful when lifting.

Great family size crockpot with extending handle

The extending handles make moving or carrying much easier. I use with the bags so it makes cleanup so much easier. I put on low and cook all night. Great
