I upgraded from the Galaxy watch3. This version is sleeker and more lightweight, which I like. The only thing I don't love is the battery drains a lot faster than my watch3 did. I've had the watch for 2 weeks now and it still drains to around 65% by noon when I put it on at 6am.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great battery and fits okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery could be a bit better but I get a full day out of it even with going to the gym and having full health benefits on. I charge my watch roughly around 12 and use the sleep tracking at around 1230 for bed. I get around 20% left each day and it takes an hour to charge back to a 100%. The fit is good when I using it during the day for tracking my vitals and steps but at night for the blood oxygen tracker I keep getting the notification to keep my watch closer to the hand or it's not being able to clearly track it. But I love the tracking of the heart and bed sleep. I love the changes they have brought to the watch from the watch 3. The 44mm is perfect size for reading texts or notifications and the perfect size to be able to keep it low profile in your pocket or while traveling.

After having my watch for over a month, I just found out that I can't charge it on the back of my phone. I used to do that with my watch 6. Although I was excited about getting the latest watch, I now regret it. Being able to charge my watch on the back of my phone was really convenient. Now I'm kinda regretting buying the newest watch. I guess I should've researched that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on the Galaxy Watch Ultra, OGar. Our goal is to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible with our devices. The Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch7 have a new rear sensor design to improve sensor accuracy over previous models. As a result, it is possible to assess health-related data points that were not previously supported as well as take more reliable measurements during prolonged or specialized exercises. However, the new sensor design required changing the shape of the back glass. The alteration increased the distance between the internal wireless charging coil of your Watch and the wireless charger, so the Wireless power-sharing feature available on the previous model is no longer supported. We appreciate your understanding. If you have any other concerns or questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

More memory and ui tweeks makes the watch much easier, faster and a joy to use. Limiting color options on the 40 and 44 mm but still the best galaxy watch ever made.

Poor battery life, vinyl band is irritating

Battery issues. Needs to be recharged morning and night if I want to record my pulse rate round the clock. Also, if you are doing something like pushing a stroller, a lawn mower, a grocery cart etc. it is not recording your steps. Your arms have to swing for it to count your steps. If you can get it around your ankle you get a much more accurate step count for your day. The vinyl band it shipped with kicked off my psoriasis: bought a leather band at a jewelers. Has several nifty apps but the battery drain is super annoying.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch7, Merry. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Check out the link attached for options to help enhance your watch's battery life. Your Samsung smartwatch automatically tracks the number of steps you've taken while wearing it. Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. The step count may not increase immediately when walking or exercising due to the step count algorithm. When the algorithm detects 10 continuous steps, the algorithm starts to count your steps taken and updates the step count. We hate to see that you've experienced challenges with your watch band. We do offer a plethora of other watch bands that may work better for you. If you have any further concerns or questions, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin
