Versatile Personal Coffee Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the sleek compact design of Hamilton Beach Flexbrew Advanced 4-in-1 Coffee Maker. This versatile machine can make personal sized coffee using grounds or K-cups using the included filter basket or K-cup holder. It can also make hot or iced coffee from 8-14 ounces and offers a choice of regular or bold strength. I love how easy it is too use, how fast it makes coffee, and how easy it is to clean. This is my new favorite coffee maker.

A compact, versatile coffeemaker + digital display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace the old single-serving coffeemaker at our small office, so we were excited to receive this Flex-Brew Advanced 4-in-1 Coffee Maker. We already owned a much more basic FlexBrew coffee maker which we used on road trips (it had a reservoir which had to be refilled each time another cup of coffee was prepared, just like the coffee makers often found in hotel rooms), so we had some familiarity with the concept of being able to use either coffee pods or scoops of ground coffee. This FlewBrew Advanced coffee maker, however, had several features which were an improvement over both our old basic FlexBrew travel coffee maker and the old single-serve coffee maker at the office. It has a relatively roomy 45 oz. water reservoir, a cup support tray/drip catcher which can be removed when a travel mug is being filled, and a digital display. The display indicates how much coffee is being brewed, whether one has chosen a regular or strong brew, and whether one is preparing hot or iced coffee. The Start button at the bottom center of the display changes color when coffee is being brewed, and various symbols are displayed when there's a problem (like "refill water", for example).
I set up the FlexBrew Advanced coffee maker in our small office's very small "break room" area (a corner of the closed-file storage room, on top of a mini fridge). I was unfortunately unable to wash all the removable parts in hot soapy water per the product manual's instructions with the cleaning supplies on hand at the office, but I did at least run a plain water "cleansing brew" through the coffee maker before attempting to brew coffee. I then topped off the reservoir with fresh water and brewed an 8 oz. mug of coffee with a coffee pod. The resulting coffee would have been even tastier if I'd been able to use my favorite liquid creamer from home, but it was certainly palatable.
It will be nice to once again be able to offer freshly-brewed coffee to visiting clients, or to have a travel mug of hot tea (probably using a tea bag) at my desk while I work. The compact design should make this coffee maker a great fit for both small offices like ours and crowded kitchen counters. Highly recommended!

Perfect cup for ground coffee or the pods!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach is my go-to for coffee makers because the quality is always there. This model does not disappoint. So many great features! I love the compact size for my small kitchen without a lot of counter space. This Flex Brew offers the option of the water reservoir so you are not filling for every cup. The options for the cup size, hot or iced and the strength of the coffee itself makes it so versatile and great for however you want your coffee each time. The touch screen is a new addition I didn't have on my previous model and I just love this. I think you will be very happy with the purchase if you choose this model, it has everything you need in a small space.

This single serve coffee maker stopped pumping water after about 3 years. I have had success with the other 6 Hamilton Beach products I have purchased.

FlexBrew Advanced 4-in-1

I bought the FlexBrew Advanced 4-in-1 coffee maker on Jun. 21, 2025. Since then, I have been making single cups of coffee daily before I head out to work. It serves single cups of coffee only and it brews great coffees. However, the only comment that I have it that it makes a loud noise towards the end of each brew. Other than that it works great and I happy with the coffee maker.

My 1st one was defective and had to return it but glad I stuck with it and purchased a new one. Makes good coffee quickly, easy to use, plenty of options.
