Ordered this on the official hamilton beach website today and everything went smoothly on the ordering process.
I'm hoping that the latch mechanism is made out of a sturdy material i.e. meatal so it will stay latched.
From the video for this looks like a more robust latch system.
Hope for the best...
Will update when I get my hands on it.

Not working after 10 days, that's 20 cups of coffee. Says it's clogged, it's not. Water not heating, shuts off after 10 seconds.
