[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes the perfect one cup of coffee, never disappoints anyone in my household,we all love the compact size and the taste and quality is great. This coffee maker has great options for a single cup or scoops of ground coffee.Way better than a hotel coffee maker one hundred percent. You will definitely be impressed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is great! You can use loose grounds or coffee pods, either hot or iced. It is easy to clean, looks nice and most of all it produces coffee that is great. There have been improvements in the Flex Brew line by reducing the machine's footprint to about 10.5 inches by 5.5inches If having the most up to date product is important check the web site because Hamilton Beach seems to be upgrading all the time.
This coffee maker makes single cups, which use the regular pods or the provided filter basket. The filter basket makes the coffee just as I like it, strong. If you follow the instructions supplied with the brewer, you will get an acceptable cup of iced coffee, too.
Two other nice features I like are the "BOLD" brew and the water out warning. The bold brew button makes your coffee a little stronger. The water out light, lets you know you ran out of water so you can add water and touch the start button to finish your brewing cycle.
This is an attractive unit, that fits my lifestyle by being very easy to clean and effectively bypassing those expensive, weak pods. It is easy to operate, maintain and looks good on my counter with a smaller footprint. The Flexbrew is now so compact that I am considering taking it with me when I travel , to avoid those hotel/motel brewers that just don't work so good.
I recommend the Flex Brew to anyone who loves coffee that is hot or iced but always fresh and brewed correctly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a coffee maker, which is a compact size, easy to operate and gives quick results. This is the one! Slim design, many features and functions for a small coffee maker. Very easy to use and looks sleek in my office. I love the built-in cleaning cycle and especially the extra basket, which allows me to use ground coffee as well as pods. Love the ice coffee option. Perfect if you are looking for a compact, slim but a multifunctional coffee maker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the 4 in 1 Flex Brew Single Serve Coffee Maker. It's simple and easy with regular or bold, hot or iced coffee settings. The reservoir holds 45 oz of water and has 8,10,12 or 14 cup sizes. It starts brewing immediately and with that, the coffee is actually hotter than other machines I have had with that same feature. Its looks nice and is compact, not bulky and makes a good cup of coffee. And as always with Hamilton Beach, I can use the ground coffee brew basket for coffee not in a K-cup. I definitely recommend this one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Hamilton Beach 4 in 1 Flexbrew coffee maker.I love the sleek design.I have very limited counter space and this fits the bill.My old coffeemaker ,you had to add one cup of water at a time, not so,with this one.I can fill the easily removable 45 oz.reservior to fill. This will work great with the holidays coming. It doesn't seem to matter what brand pods I use,the coffee is hot and delicious! I like that I can use my own favorite ground coffee in this,as well.So easy to use,I couldn't hope for a better coffeemaker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this Kcup maker. Made a quick cup of coffee. It holds a lot of water to make several cups of coffee. Doesn't take up much room on counter. So easy to use if yoh don't want to make a full pot of coffee. It can make iced coffee too. Also different sizes of coffee cups. I love using it. I would reccommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great machine. I love that it is a 4-n-1 brew machine. I can use my I cups or ground coffee and even make iced coffee. I like that it is really quiet and sleek. Easy to use with the pod and ground coffee holders that come in the box. This machine controls panel is all touch. Easy to clean and is very easy to place it because it’s a slim machine so it doesn’t take up counter space. I really like this machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this. I have been looking at this coffee maker for a while... particularly because of it's "small footprint" since I have very little counter space to spare. But, the "small footprint" is only width wise which is great (only 5 and a half inches wide). But, the reservoir tank in the back makes for quite a lengthy depth (10.7 inches long). Cuts deep into my limited counter space. Frankly, I don't understand the need for a reservoir since, you can only fit one cup under the brew basket. (btw: pretty turquoise cup not included:( So, if you're not making a few cups at a time, the water will sit in the reservoir until your next cup is made. So, even if that's the next day, it sat there for a day. Being a serious coffee drinker, I know that if you want the best tasting cup of coffee, you want to use fresh water each time, not standing water that gets flat/stale.
Now for the coffee result. I used the basket (with a snap cap) and coffee grains. Basket is small and slightly cone shaped so, I'm still figuring out what filters I'll use. But, the cup I made had no sediment or grinds in the bottom of the cup after brewing so, filters may not be necessary for me.
You have brew options on the front panel to chose based upon the cup size and the amount of water you'll be using. And also, you can brew normally or select "Bold". Although I enjoy a strong cup of coffee, I tried the regular brew and, I was very satisfied with the results. I got a nice strong delicious cup of coffee (I grind my own beans). And, it brewed quickly too which I really appreciated. My old coffee maker took SO long that, I would usually plan kitchen activities while it was brewing to keep me busy. No kidding. And, the coffee came out piping hot. I assume that, because it brews so quickly, that is why. I also appreciated that since, it is so cold in my apartment in the winter so, the coffee starting out piping hot to begin with, really helps to keep it hot when it reaches my coffee warmer.
