Faulty design Should be recalled

I have used this Brlta Longlast filter for the last few months mainly due to its claim that it filters out lead from a water source unlike the regular brita filters. The filter is unusable after a few months or even weeks since it slows filtration till it is unusable for daily filter water needs. I have soaked and pressed on it in case there are bubbles formed inside but to no avail. Brita really need to recall these filters or put out a version 2. The cost of these filters is high compared to the regular filters. Also just look at the amount of 1 star comments you have here and it is easy to deduct there are a lot of dissatisfied customers. Fix this Brita or pull it off the market!

RECALL THIS ITEM!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too slow to be functional. I see many reviews with the same story. I filled up the pre filter chamber when I got home at 8pm. It is now 10pm and it’s not done filtering yet. It has filtered about 2 cups of water in that amount of time. This is ridiculous and has cost me time and money! I have had to go out of my way like to buy water bottles from the store because I can’t fill my reusable water bottles with my filtered water.. which was the whole point of buying a Brita pitcher to begin with. I have bought a couple of Brita pitchers in the past and this one straight up doesn’t work. Take it off the market and save people the trouble!
