I wish I read the reviews before purchasing a pitcher with an Elite filter, which doesn't fit securely. Water just streams into the pitcher, which leads me to believe the water is not being filtered. Seems many others have had the same experience.

Like filter lasting for 6 months

I am happy that I only have to change the filter every 6 months.

Doesn't Filter AT ALL

I purchased FOUR long lasting filters thinking of inflation. Now I am stuck with all these filters. The water comes out so fast I can't even fill the reservoir halfway. I then checked the water quality and it is the same as the tap water. I am tempted to break open one but I do not have another proven filter. I decided to to open another one a few days later and it is the same thing. I have two proven duds and I use it now to water my plants. I went back to Zerowater!

Please ensure you're lining up the groove on the filter with the notch inside the reservoir then insert the filter into the reservoir. The filter should fit firmly and not be able to move. While our filters can reduce contaminants like lead, mercury, and cadmium, we don't make claims about TDS reduction because TDS isn't a measurement of water safety. It's only an aesthetic (taste) measurement. We focus on what we think matters most to people, contaminant removal, and taste. Bad design for older pitchers

DOES NOT HOLD IN PLACE WELL! Filter will float up when filling & have to hold down in place

When is Brita going to fix this issue (part II)

Interesting.... I took the time to write a rather long review on here on Jan 16, 2023, which someone from Brita responded to, giving me a case # to call them and discuss my issue, and now it appears to have been deleted along with quite a few others, and the star rating on this product seems to have gone up quite a bit... Weird!
I'll say it again, these filters don't work. The original that came with my dispenser was fine, but the replacements have been terrible. They filter fine for a week or two and then slow down to a drip and take literally hours to fill up my counter top dispenser. That also seems to be the case with many other reviewers going all the way back to at least 2018, but again, a lot of those reviews seem to be missing now...
I essentially wasted my money on 3 of these filters that didn't last for 6 months combined and then wasted my time writing a review that conveniently disappeared about a week after I wrote it.
Pretty dishonest there, Brita. My first review was very polite and just told my story, but now I'm a little ticked..
I'll be screenshotting this one to make sure everyone knows if it gets deleted again, although I still have the confirmation email from my first one as well. I'll be contacting the BBB if my review is deleted again.
So where's my case number now??
