Upgrade at a cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from Galaxy watch 4 to Galaxy watch 8 and anticipated the battery would be improved along with additional health features. I chose Galaxy again because I been happy with the metrics tracked but the new watch charges very slowly and runs out of battery very quickly.

Thank you for taking the opportunity to share your thoughts with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. The Galaxy Watch8 is a huge generational leap over the Galaxy Watch4. It offers a much brighter 3,000-nit display, a vastly faster 3nm penta-core processor, double the storage (32GB), larger batteries, and refined health tracking like vascular load and antioxidant metrics. The Galaxy Watch8 40mm model offers a 325mAh battery while the 44mm model offers a 435mAh battery. Both options offer up to 30 hours of use in Always On Display (AOD) mode. To fast charge your Galaxy Watch8, please make sure to connect the included magnetic USB-C wireless puck to a high-output USB-C power adapter (at least 10W). Snap the magnetic charger securely onto the back of the watch face, and plug the cable into your power source. A great first-time buy

It does a lot and gets you acclamted to the user interface/connect ability and I would highly recommend to get used to this type of device. It's sleek and stylish for accent to a formal look, without being overbearing to wear everyday casually.

Watch 8 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously used galaxy watch 4 classic, watch 6 and watch 7. And now i have the galaxy 8 with me. This new device has been much faster - i almost dont see lags. The battery life has been better, and the ergonomics are amazing. I think samsung put so much effort on making the watch more usable and reliable.
