Few directions or ways to ask questions...I lost ability to access workouts for a while and still takes me a while. I'll figure it out eventually, but don't think it should be this hard. Also - what's with the battery life?

I don't want to activate payment with the watch.

I keep getting a notification to activate card payments, and there's no way to get rid of it. It drains the battery very quickly, and it's driving me crazy, so I've decided not to use it.

Good day Yessid,
Thank you for finding the free time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. We value your honesty as we improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. You can bypass the "activate card payments" notification on your Galaxy Watch8 by managing the Samsung Wallet app or disabling NFC. You can turn off notifications specifically for the Samsung Wallet (or Samsung Pay) app from your phone's settings. You can also manage the pop-up behavior directly within the Samsung Wallet application. The Galaxy Watch8 offers a powerful 3nm processor that has longer battery life and improved performance. The battery life on the Galaxy Watch8 varies depending on the usage. The 40mm model comes with a 325mAh battery, and the 44mm model has a 435mAh battery. Both offer up to 30 hours of use in Always On Display (AOD) mode. If you're experiencing less than optimal battery life on your device, please take a moment to review "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your battery life. If you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like further assistance after checking out the resources shared below, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support. Thank you for being an unwavering Samsung customer.

I love that the 8 is thinner than my 7. It makes it much easier to sleep with.

It's okay, a luxury purchase for sure. It bought it mainly to try out the sleep tracking, which is somewhat helpful--it's probably not much less accurate than any other option, but it's certainly no better, just a lot more expensive. I also use it to track my heart rate during workouts, which again, it's probably not a lot less accurate than other options, just a lot more expensive. For me, the battery lasts about 2 nights and it recharges pretty quickly. I selected what I thought was the nicest looking watchband option, but it's still cheap plastic--calling it "breathable" is definitely aspirational. Overall, if you have the money to waste, it's fine. Maybe there are some people you can impress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
