LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I'm the envy of the office! I had a small fan and small heater on my floor and can be seen with either one of them operating on the same day and during the same season...if you know what I mean! A colleague recommended this fan hot/cold/filter, I purchased it and could not be happier. I'm only hoping the filter lasts a long as this honeymoon...they're a little pricy.

Perfect for my needs.

This fan is an amazing piece of technology. For my purpose, it is perfect, but its features go way beyond my current needs. I wanted something for my library that would add a little breeze on stuffy days when we weren't using the air conditioner, and something that would add a little warmth on cold Winter days. Dyson makes some incredible products, this one among them. They are not cheap, but one gets what he/she pays for!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s hard to believe there’s a ‘new’ kitchen in the US without a fan, but yes, I have one. My Dyson :) gets rid of those cooking odors and sends them out, when I open the sliders. Not to mention warming (or cooling) the bathroom. I could go on with all the many ways I use this handy little fan. Don’t know what I did without it.

H2 Error right after warranty expired

It seems all these other great reviews are for owners who have had this thing < 2 years. It wouldn't surprise me if the products were engineered so that they fail right after the warranty period. I thought this heater was great until it stopped working. It's a shame because I have others that are less than 20% of the price for one of these that are still chugging a long.

Not a reliable sleek design crab!!!
Super slow job on exchanging program as well.
I rather stick with classic heater and fan.

Great heat when it works

This heater is great when it works. However it will completely power off intermittently. No, I'm not using the timer function. I contacted Dyson support through their email and their response was this is normal. Even the cheapest heater I've used in the past never shut itself completely off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Way Too Pricey, And Don't Get What You Paid For!

Our boss had to purchase one of these heaters when the weather dropped below freezing point and our office heater was not working. It was the only heater available at any stores in the area. I would assume because of it's unrealistic price it wasn't a favorite of anyone else who bought out the other brands. We already had a couple other heaters in the office that were purchased in the past for an eighth of what the Dyson AM09 was. The fan looks cool and it's nice that it can offer heat and cooling, however the heating was no where near as powerful as the cheaper brands. The jet forced air when it was in focused mode was about as good as it could get. It is nice and quiet and so are the cheaper brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my AM09 Fan Heater

Love, love the AM09 Fan Heater, cannot wait fro cooler weather to try the cooling cycle. Purchased this device while in an emergency situation - returned from vacation and discovered furnace was broken - no repairman for three days. AM09 was able to maintain main level (of 3 -story condo) heated at 68 degrees. Cannot say enough good things about the AM09. Diffused and focused modes enabled us to spread the heat out and the machines ability to oscillate really assisted with keeping the air warm throughout the covered areas.
I would recommend this to a friend!
