Super Purchase

Up until now, the majority of our use has been the cooling side of this device. However, over the weekend we had the opportunity to try out the heating side and it was just as fabulous! This was one of my best purchases. I love there are no blades to clean nor no fans to disassemble to get to those blades. I love this so much I purchased two other Dyson fan/heaters and love them too!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hot + Cool

The only concern I have is the calibration when first turned on. It takes anywhere from a few seconds to a couple minutes to begin operating and does not always go to the selected mode. Meaning that when I want cool some times it flips to heat and has to be changed. Other than that I love the machine.

Works as advertised -- only used for cooling in a very warm bedroom setting. Very versatile in terms of being able to direct air movement where desired/needed. While this is an expensive fan, it does the job and I do not regret the high cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the magical Dyson Blue Standup Fan for cooling, but it's a great heater! So easy to use. Endlessly fascinating to my 10 YO nephew. The temperature control in my house varies wildly from room to room. My bedroom is always the opposite of the rest of the house, so this Dyson Magical Blue Fan is a lifesaver. So quiet, too.

The fan is everything the advertising claim it would be. We have enjoyed the cooling feature in our living room all summer. The selection of speeds is great and the use of the osculating feature was nice when several people were in the room. The fact that is quieter tan "Box" fans is very nice also.
We have not used the heater feature yet as our tempatures have not been cool enough to need extra heat.
