I have used other portable fans/heaters but this dyson Hot/Cold fan is the best. It is really quiet and keeps my room cool even when there is not much make up air. The size and portability is also exactly what I have been looking for. I can easily move the fan from my desk to a book shelf or on a table without taking up room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for an office or small room

This product looks amazing. It performs wonderfully, and quietly. I purchased this fan/heater for my office because the AC is constantly running. The rush of the cool air is primarily what makes it uncomfortable. Dyson's fan prevents the cold air form blowing directly on me, and even helps keep the room warm. My only complain is that there is not a way to trigger the heater to turn on when the AC in the building does without constantly turning the temperature up. If there was a way to just move the air ever so slightly instead of heat or cold that might be a good fix.
I will attempt to find a good balance, and update my review when I do.

Love it! Use it every day in my very warm office. It is quiet and a fresh cool air. Tilt feature is added comfort.

Great Investment

I invested in this fan because of a number of reasons. The first is because it's heat and cool. The heat is amazing as it feels like it's not dry heat. I thought the cooling part would be more colder but I can get used to it. The remote is very easy to use. I thought it would be heavier but it's lightweight. It doesn't feel like tough material so I don't put it up on a shelf. The only hard part was putting on that little circle stand. Hahahaha.

I am very pleased with this device. it is quiet and warms the whole room gently and efficiently. The fan option is also good. There are many variable settings to suite any ventilation need.

Bought this for my son's room which never seems to get either cold enough in the summer and warm enough in the winter. All I can say is "it's perfect". Works great, does the job and then some, we are so happy with this purchase. Not only does it look great but the circulation of either warm or cool air that is produces is wonderful, just right. This little thing is pretty sweet. I'm in the season change over here and it manages to keep my room at 72 degrees. Don't expect it to heat your whole house. It's not advertised as such. Can't wait to see how it works in the summer.
