Hey there mateoram,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy A17 5G. Performance can vary based on usage and background activity; however, many users find that the device reliably supports everyday tasks with the right setup. To monitor your device's performance, you can use the Device Care feature, which provides an overview of your battery, storage, and RAM.
You can also automatically optimize your phone or tablet for better performance. The Quick Optimization feature boosts your device by finding apps that drain too much battery. It removes unnecessary items from memory, deletes unwanted files, scans for malware, and closes background apps.
Optimizing your phone is quick and easy. To do this, go to Settings, swipe to and tap on Device Care, then tap Optimize Now and select Done.
Please consult our online guide linked below for more detailed information on maintaining your device's optimal performance. Thank you for being a Samsung customer!

A Solid Budget Pick!
on March 30, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy A15 5G is a no-nonsense, reliable smartphone that excels as an everyday device. Great screen, strong battery, decent cameras, and long software support make it one of the best values in the entry-level segment.
A few minor downsides: the single speaker is average (not very loud or bassy), bezels are a bit chunky by modern standards, and heavy multitasking or demanding games will show its budget roots. No IP rating for water/dust resistance either.
Perfect for students, first-time smartphone users, parents, or anyone who wants solid performance without the premium price tag. Highly recommended if you're on a budget! Would I buy it again? Absolutely for the right use case. (4/5)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the A15 and liked that one, so this one while more up to date, is similar in nature with the ease of use. I like that fact that sound was brought back to the Keyboard, but I do wish there were more default ringtone options.
