What a Jump in Performance!
on October 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a long time disliker toward Samsung products, as I've been introduced to the ecosystem with my grandma's old Galaxy A10e. Since my dad bought me the A17, I've been appreciating it a lot more!
I have 4X the storage as on my last phone, which was enough to transfer all of my apps from both my A10e and iPod touch, without even using a quarter of the storage. The camera quality also had a huge jump since my A10e! I love using it to photograph my university's bunnies.
My favorite part of the A17 is that I can use a fingerprint to immediately unlock my phone. Now I don't have to type in my horrendously long password every time!
Overall, I absolutely love my A17. I would happily recommend this phone to anyone who's looking for a budget smartphone, and wants to get into the Samsung ecosystem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still finding new things I can do with my phone and I've had it over a year.
"I chose" the A17 because of all it had to offer. It helps keep me organized with everything from appointments to payments.

Galaxy A17 Review by: Courtney Aka: Awesome
on October 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy A17 manages to punch above its weight class in the budget smartphone market. Building on the foundation of its predecessor, it strikes a practical balance between daily performance, battery longevity, and modern design.
Design and Display
The phone features a clean, minimalist build with slimmed-down bezels and a vibrant Super AMOLED panel. Browsing social media and streaming video feel smooth and punchy, thanks to a high refresh rate and bright colors that hold up well even under direct sunlight.
Performance and Battery Life
Powered by an efficient mid-range processor paired with generous base storage, the Galaxy A17 handles multitasking, app switching, and light gaming with ease. The standout feature remains its battery endurance—easily stretching into a second day of typical use. When you do need to top up, fast-charging support gets you back on your feet quickly.
Camera Quality
The rear camera array delivers crisp, well-saturated photos in daylight, leveraging Samsung’s color tuning to make everyday shots pop. While low-light photography still shows a bit of noise, the dedicated night mode helps pull out clean details in dim environments.
Verdict
For anyone seeking a reliable daily driver that delivers premium essential features without a flagship price tag, the Galaxy A17 is a standout candidate that i choose as one of the best value-for-money options in its category.

I chose and requested the liquid screen protector
on October 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the liquid screen protector and Case•Mate also, and have never seen a more durable phone in decades. I have dropped it facedown on the tile floor from 1.5 meters and it is still in perfect condition. (And approximately 35-40 other times from <1 meter)

Downgraded from Galaxy22 with regrets.
on October 4, 2026
Posted by: Strictlysamsung
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My galaxy22 took a fall and needed a replacement asap so I chose the Galaxy 17 5g. One of the biggest mistakes ive made when it comes to Samsung. The Galaxy 17 crashes, lags so bad. Samsung is my choice hands down when it comes to my personal use. The Galaxy 17 is a really budget phone and it shows. If it was not so slow I think I would have given 2 stars maybe 3 just because it is Samsung. It does take fairly good photos.
