[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the A17 because I got a great deal on it when I first got into sober living. The phone overall is a good phone, I mean I can't say it hasn't done it's job. Lol. But I gave it 4 stars because it is constantly making me restart it. It says for better performance. Even though it's a couple months old now, it shouldn't be slowing down. If I'm on an app for work or leisure the battery has started to die quicker than it used too, also. But I will say it's been pretty indestructible, it's dropped a few times and still no scratches! Honestly I'm already on the market looking to get a new phone cause this one doesn't tickle my fancy anymore. Hope this helps. . .

I Get All I Need With My Samsung Galaxy A17 5G

I use my phone for multiple reasons daily, the main one is listening to music and content. It has incredible high quality sound with Adapt Sound to customize your Bluetooth or Wired headphones for your specific hearing. I also love that Samsung now includes budget friendly devices like my A17 5g to now include the extended long term security policy that includes 6 years of security updates and android OS updates.

I love my Samsung phone!

I was shocked at the ease of use and layout her phone had! I didn't even need a new phone but shortly after playing around with her phone I went and got a Samsung and have not looked back. I didn't know all the great stuff I was missing out on that my brand didn't have!! Love Samsung and I have NO regrets that I chose to switch brands.

Great product some flaws

The concerns you're describing—screen "twitching," accidental app closures, and an early unlocking lock screen—typically suggest a combination of ghost touches (software or hardware glitches) and security setting conflicts.
If your phone unlocks before you complete your passcode, there may be a specific convenience feature enabled. Here are a couple of adjustments you can make:
1. Disable "Confirm PIN without tapping OK":
- Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Lock Screen > Screen Lock Type.
- Re-enter your PIN and ensure that the box for "Confirm PIN without tapping OK" is unchecked. This setting requires you to press the enter/OK key before the phone unlocks.
2. Turn off "Extend Unlock" (Smart Lock):
- If your phone remains unlocked when it's near your body, home, or a trusted Bluetooth device, go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Extend Unlock and disable these options.

I especially like that the battery on this particular device can last for up to 3 days when charged at 100%.
It has several accessibility functions, making it accessible for all ages. For example parental control and visibility enhancement.
I gave my Samsung Galaxy A17 a 5 star rating, because it passes my expectation for a quality product. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience and for your time and consideration.

It's not bad, but I had the s24 ultra before this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone really is nice. I'm always confused by which phone I have because I have the s24 ultra fit a different line. They both look the same and they are the same size. I can send my pics easily and quickly between the two phones if I need to edit a pic or make it better on the 24 but the camera is still decent on the A17. Hard to give it 5 stars after going from the s24 ultra but for the price it's definitely a very well built phone.

Great phone only one issue

I love the way my games look and the ease of finding my apps as well as the ability to customize every aspect of how my phone looks. The only issue I have with it is if it dies and I restart it while plugged in the system ui doesn't respond and I have to restart it again. This happens Everytime the battery dies and I try to turn it on while charging it. Literally everything else about this phone is amazing.
