Horrible phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't get this phone! It's a 2012 phone in a 2026 body! Soooo slow, sooo laggy! Not even good for day to day use!! Tried to run subway surfers and it got so hot it burnt my hands!! The cameras are garbage and it only has 4gb of ram! It's running a exynos 1330 chipset built on 5nm which should make this a decent phone should! I also own the a26 running a 1380 chipset and you would think not being far apart it would run perrty much the same but nope the a26 is actually a decent midrange phone! 2 stars for the a17 only reason it gets 2 stars is i really like the build!

This is my first a series phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure why I chose this one...o yes bc it was free if I got a plan but it's nothing like any of the s ones .. but it's okay for being a lower end model.... but i have so many different Samsung phones.. but I'm going to have to say this one if probably my least favorite one but I mean it's good for being a lower end model I'll probably stick too my s one.. like the new s26 that I just got.. that one is my favorite one ... of all of them that I have right now.

great battery performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im really glad that I CHOSE the A17 5G model. It's been very durable and the battery life is the best above any other phone ive had. There seems to be alot of the sub permissions that I usually avoid. But the instructions throughout the settings are easily understandable. They seem to break most of them down in a way that gives you a more clear picture of how they work together or what affect your choices will have on performance. Im not too thrilled with the choices for layout & color schemes because it's hard to read or make out some lettering no matter what size you have your font. Like I said though, im pretty happy overall that I CHOSE my A17 5G. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone because it was very affordable and due to my last phone being out of date. Biggest mistake I have ever made.
This phone has been slow right out of the box, unresponsive, and an absolute pain to use. The camera stops working after a few pictures and causes my entire phone to crash, I can't listen to music and type due to glitching, and I'm constantly getting "System UI has stopped working" messages.
I've been a loyal Samsung user for over a decade now, and I can tell you this is without a doubt the slowest phone I've ever had.
