[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its an ok phone. Its slow a lot of times. If im watching a video or playing a game on it and I get a phone call it either won't answer because it freezes up or it sounds like a robot on a skipping record for first 10-15 seconds. Once im able to i choose to get a better Samsung phone.

Response from Samsung USBy R&R, August 13, 2026
Good day Nicholsless916464,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Galaxy A17 5G. This device offers 5G connectivity, a large display, and features that support everyday multitasking for entertainment, gaming, and calls. We understand that issues like freezing during incoming calls and distorted audio in the first few seconds can disrupt your experience and make it less reliable.
If you plan to engage in resource-intensive tasks on your phone, such as streaming or gaming, we recommend closing all background apps for optimal performance. Please check out the online article linked below for more information. Your feedback is valuable to Samsung as it helps us identify areas where we can improve multitasking. Thank you for choosing Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i tell you it takes forever for me to switch phones I'm not lying. I tend to keep my phone for so long that i'm always out of date with new technology.
So I need the phone, and I just so happen to get this model and absolutely love it I use all of the features I use all of the settings.I love the a I. I chose this company because ive always loved Samsung products since I was young and this phone did not disappoint. I am thinking of switching to a newer soon but really love this phone alot!
