I like being able to cook pizza inside. Controls are intuitive. Louder than my built in oven. Cannot switch between modes without letting the oven completely cool down and restarting it. I found this out the hard way after inviting friends and planning to cook deep dish and NY style pizzas. Put a big damper on the party. This quirk should have been conspicuously disclosed in the website promotion. In NY Style mode, the bottom of the crust gets too dark or burns before the top crust browns and the cheese fully melts. This has happened with Ooni’s frozen dough or dough that I make at various hydration levels.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mini pizza oven!! It comes with a pizza stone as well so homemade pizza just gets a lot easier without firing up the traditional oven. It has a good weight on it, but not to the point where you cant lift it, but definitely not a cheap item. I like the milti-functions the oven has, not just for pizza. Its slim and fit well to replace my small counter toaster oven. Definitely worth it!!
So Amazing, why go out for pizza when you can make it right at home!!

My husband loves making Pizza and I wanted to get him a pizza oven for Christmas. I did some research and was not sure if I should get a gas one or electric but seeing how convenient it would be to have the electric inside and be able to use it rain or shine, that was what I decided to do. Plus the reviews were amazing online. We have used it every day since we received it to make pizza, warm pizza up, warmed other food up. It is awesome!!
In some ways it may be better than my outdoor wood-burning Ooni. Since the heat comes from all sides you don’t have to worry about turning or burning one side. It makes a great pizza!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the Ooni Volt 2. It’s a fantastic oven for anyone who wants to seriously learn pizza making across multiple styles. The range of settings gives you a lot of control, which makes it easy to experiment and dial things in whether you’re going for Neapolitan, New York–style, or something in between. It’s a compact oven and fits nicely on my countertop and is lightweight. It’s easy to maintain with just brushing off the stone after use or running at about 800 degrees to burn off any grease to remove any spots or smells.
One of the biggest strengths of the Volt 2 is how approachable it is for learning. Very little assembly is required. Being able to independently control top and bottom heat takes a lot of the guesswork out and helps you understand how different heat profiles affect the bake. It’s powerful, consistent, and produces excellent results indoors without the hassle of gas or wood.
The companion app is also a strong addition. It’s well-designed, easy to use, and genuinely useful rather than feeling like a gimmick. I especially enjoy the recipe generator—it’s great for inspiration and makes it simple to try new dough formulations and styles with confidence.
Overall, the Ooni Volt 2 is a high-quality, thoughtfully designed oven that’s both beginner-friendly and capable enough to grow with you as your skills improve. If you’re serious about pizza and want an indoor oven that offers versatility, precision, and great results, this one is absolutely worth it.
