I was very excited about my oven . . turned it on . . heated up . . glass door smashed . . sent it back for a replacement . . same again. Apparently a known fault so they all should be recalled and so dangerous!

The volt 2 is comparable to the original volt, keeping the same internal size yet being smaller on the outside. I am excited to try some non pizza recipes too

It’s brilliant. The speed in which it cooks pizza is incredible.
Only issue we had was the pizza stone cracked after a couple of uses. However the Ooni support team had this replaced quickly and it’s been fine ever since.

Before purchasing the Volt I had been using my Koda 16 from spring to fall from 2021. This new addition is fabulous. Makes an even better Neapolitan with less fuss. My wife and I will use it at least twice a week all seasons. I will reserve the Koda for some summer nights and for guests. What a great product.
By the way I recently returned from a six month vacation in my family home town in Italy. Called Gaeta. About 45 miles north of Naples. I learned much about Neapolitan pizza making from a a few local pizzaiolas. Wish I could truly replicate the sauces and particularly the bufala mozzarella.

Honestly surprised how great it has been

I originally wanted to buy a gas-fired oven. After a recommendation, I decided to go with the Volt 2 and I have not regretted my decision.
It's clean, it's fast, and it makes delicious pizza. I also tried other things like tarte flambee and everything has come out great.
It's fun to experiment with different temperatures and presets.
Cleaning the oven is also quite easy since it's just stainless steel inside.
The only thing I would like to have changed is a way to turn on the light in the oven without having to turn the heating on. This would make cleaning it a lot easier.

An Impressive Countertop Device for Weeknight Pizza

After having used the Koda outdoor oven for years, I wasn't sure how the Volt 2 would perform. I'm blown away by the high-heat features and fast, even cooking from the indoor oven. I can't wait to try it for more recipes beyond pizza.

Sent 2 faulty ovens, too many build quality issues so gave up. Went for the Sage Pizzaiolo instead, which is great.
