Next level compared to cheap Amazon ovens.

Fantastic product. Works wonderfully. Temperature control has been great. Presets work great. Proofing function is super handy. User interface is intuitive and easy. Really well built and quality product imo (I bought a cheap oven before and quickly found its caveats) the ooni is another league.
I bought it primarily for convenience and wanting to cook/create authentic Neapolitan/contempory Neapolitan pizza. And it really does do a superb job. Any shortcomings are my own fault in that respect.
My only one gripe with it is perhaps the lack of top and bottom element control. And having to use the ovens ‘crispyness’ setting to alter the cooking process.
It’s intended as a more hands off ‘smart’ oven where most people can get really great results without much interference or thinking. And it does work for that.
The app is also decent with lots of ideas/recipes and dough calculator.
So far I’ve made Detroit pizza with their Detroit pan as it fits perfectly in the volt 2. Focaccia and Neapolitan a handful of times. With some great results.
Overall. A decent bit of kit at consumer level.

The pizza that come out

The pizza that come out are fantastic. I have an outdoor electric oven made by others but the Ooni is superior. One issue is my pizza stone cracked in half but Ooni replaced it free very quickly. I love it. It is quite expensive but making pizza is a hobby and I enjoy our pizza nights.

Once you get the timing right for Napoleon pizzas then it’s perfect.
The stone had a crack in it but Ooni sent another one straight away, excellent service.

Great oven, but........

Great oven producing great pizza, but let down by a painfully thin pizza stone. Ours broke on the second time out. Replaced under warranty without a problem but turns a 5 star rating into 3 stars for me.
