The old interface reminds me of windows for computers first came out. I can see you have never bothered the get with your competitors. Also would Nev er connect to my bluetooth sound system. Lousing old outdate tv show and movies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great replacement for my older ROKU in my home theater, Easy setup and works very fast. I like the recharable battery in the remote control. I may buy another Roku Ultra for my great room. I would like to see an update in the fast forward feature for TV shows that shows me when the commercials are over.

Excellent so far. Remote is not working properly at this time. It makes 2-3 moves at a single button push. I will keep working to solve the issue.

I have no problem with the Roku itself but for some reason the remote battery drains fast and the remote status pops up on the screen constantly unless I keep it plugged into a usb charger

Great device, great programming, great interface

I finally bought my own Roku after using a number of friends' units and I like it a lot. It seems that the Roku channel programming keeps getting better, and the device remains super easy to use. I especially like the 'global' search function to look for a program among the dozens of services we have now - makes it practical to find what you want without doing a deep dive.
My WiFi kept kicking the Roku offline for unknown reasons, perhaps because I'm in a big apartment building, so I dug up a Cat 5E cable, connected the Ultra to the router and the connection has been 100% stable. This is an advantage of the Ultra - the wired port solves this problem. Yes, the 100Mb/s wired connection is slower than WiFi but practically, this is not an issue - no stream is even close to 100Mb/s so there's no actual penalty. Loading new services seems just about as fast as well.
I recently cut the cord with an ATSC tuner and a Roku Ultra, and with one or two streaming services, I've been extremely happy so far. I do not miss the cable box one bit, and I'm saving tons of money each month.
