Purchased two units to replace Dish. ROKU works perfectly. Got rid of three remotes. Install was fast and easy.

It's a good streaming device but I would add that the remote control is a big disappointment and no more than the basic with few features as a return button. Just wish it had more features.

Great performance, easy to set up and use

When broadband finally came to our rural location streaming video to go with our off-air antenna was a first purchase. I've been setting up Roku units for clients for years and chose them to use for my home.

Still have buffering issues with the Express connected in my living room. The ultra connected in my bedroom is hot wired. No buffering problem with it. In essence I am pleased with Roku. Hope in the future the buffering issues will be resolved.

Not needed with my new Sony Smart TV

I bought this Roku thinking it would improve my viewing experience with my new Sony Smart TV. I bought a Soundbar and it did not go well at all. Constant attempts to switch to the soundbar and TV speakers. I disconnected the Roku and now live happily ever after.

More than a Workhorse

Bought the Roku Ultra Plus because the Express was laggy and the stuttering that occurred was significantly noticeable. Hence, a Black Friday purchase and voila, laggy scenes in streaming were no more. And yes, internet mbps was not an issue as the provider was the same before Express and after Roku Ulitra purchases, so for sure wasn't that.
