Excellent Streaming Device

Initially everything worked very well. Then about a month into usage the remote started acting very weird. When you were in an app such as Youtube the remote would jump ahead several selection even though you only pushed the advance arrow once. This is very annoying and I have yet to find the cause and corrective action. This would have been a 5 Star review if not for this one very annoying issue. Otherwise this is an outstanding streaming device delivering outstanding video and audio quality. And yes, I understand that it is only as good as the TV/Monitor/Audio device that it is connected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Finally Great Streaming Experience

Bought this Roku to replace my Firestick. The streaming experience on this Roku device has been exceptional to say the least. No more buffering, dropping of stream. The remote is well made and has some nice features. Especially the earbuds to watch and not disturb anyone. So far my experience has been great and I highly recommend Roku!

my vision is bad as well as my hearing so the better resalution and the rechargable remote was my main focus. the ultra provides this and more the resalution is incredible and I can listen to movies,music, or what ever I want without disturbing others. of course my older roku had the same feature but using it burned battery's up which limited my use of this feature.
my older unit was always dependable and still works to this day, but the new ULTRA is a step up and I absolutly recomend roku for people like me (elderly).
A final note easy to use/ set up and navigate through/I don't use my smart tv i only use my roku because it is so easy to find what you are looking for.
I could go on and on, just do yourself a favor get one you won't be sorry.

My third ROKU upgrade

I got a 4K TV and my Roku Premiere wasn't providing 4K. I learned later that was the fault of my sound system, but I upgraded anyway with the discount deal for the Ultra. It's more responsive then the Premiere so I'm happy with the upgrade. I also solved the 4K problem, turns out my Yamaha only passes 4K from one of it's many HDMI inputs, so the Ultra is on that input now. I passed my Premiere onto my sister (who had my {PREVIOUS Roku from years ago) so we are all happy now.

Easy to navigate. User friendly. Waited to see how it worked till I bought the 2nd unit. Happily I now have two. 32 yr Comcast customer this was a big move for me. Glad I jumped !!!
